Who We Are

"ANANNA-Association of Bangladeshi Women in Qatar was founded in 2020 as Co-operative of NRBs in Qatar and later changed their name in July 2022. ANANNA consists of a group of Bangladeshi women who meet on a monthly basis to become a catalyst of growth for aspiring women in Qatar providing organization support and platform to assist each other to empower and grow, to promote Bangladeshi culture and traditions in Qatar through products, food and cultural activities. Throughout the year, ANANNA hosts a number of activities to accomplish these goals. ANANNA hosts monthly meetings, events and fairs, cultural diversity events to create opportunity to showcase Bangladesh and its culture. It also organizes events and exhibitions with the support of the Ambassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Qatar to support the members in their journey of empowerment in addition to promoting tradition and culture of Bangladesh. We also take pride in representing Bangladesh in events on behalf of Ambassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and in events organized by Ministry of Culture. ANANNA is also involved in various Community Service activities as well. We work with the local communities to help support the need both in Qatar and in Bangladesh. ANANNA’s goal is to have active, contributing members in Doha, who are originally from Bangladesh and we invite you to join us."
